Shane Bowman was re-elected to City Council Position No. 2 in November of 2023 and is currently serving his fourth consecutive term in office.  

He served as Mayor from 2014 to 2015 and as Deputy Mayor from 2012 to 2013 and again from 2018 to 2019. 

Councilmember Bowman was awarded the Certificate of Municipal Leadership by the Association of Washington Cities (AWC). He went on to earn the Advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership in 2023.

Victoria Ferrer was elected to City Council Position No. 3 in November of 2023 and is currently serving her first term in office.

Her service in the position began in November 2023 when she was appointed to serve the then-vacated position. 

Adrian Cortes was re-elected to City Council Position No. 4 in November of 2021. He is currently serving his 2nd consecutive term in office.

He served as Mayor from 2020 to 2021.

Mr. Cortes previously served as City Council Position No. 3 from 2012 - 2015. Prior to his service on City Council, Mr. Cortes served as an appointed member of the city’s Planning Commission as Chair. 

In 2014 Councilmember Cortes earned the Association of Washington Cities’ (AWC) Certificate of Municipal Leadership and in 2015 earned the Advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership.
